ABOUT US

OUR BEGINNINGS

"Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International began as one small
chapter in L.A. California in 1952. It was a "God Inspired" vision of a
businessman named Demos Shakarian who was obedient to God, and as a result,
now has grown into a global ministry in 150 countries.
Through the vision, untold masses of men from every nation, once spiritually
dead, are now alive. Delivered and set free, they are filled with the power of the
Holy Spirit, lifting holy hands and voices in praise to the King of Glory, Jesus.
Men and women who join the fellowship have the opportunity to participate in
their choice of a number of ministries, designed to spread the good news of
Christ in the business and community environment.
You are cordially invited to join us in this great work of God. Thank you."

BRIEF HISTORY

Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (abbreviated
FGBMFI) was founded in 1952 by Demos Shakarian who had a vision of
reaching men for Jesus.  That vision is a now a reality as FGBMFI has chapters
in all 50 states in America as well as 150 foreign countries, overcoming
denominational, racial, and cultural barriers.

FGBMFI is composed of men and women from all walks of life
- corporate leaders, business executives, doctors, lawyers, scientists, Pastors,
pilots, policemen, farmers, contractors, car dealers and every other type of
business man or woman that you can think of.

Each year about 5 million people around the world attend chapter
meetings or other FGBMFI activities.

What is the purpose of FGBMFI?
*    To reach men and women for Jesus Christ.
*    To call men and women back to God.
*    To help believers to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and to grow spiritually.
*    To train and equip men and women to fulfill the Great Commission.
*    To provide an opportunity for Christian fellowship.
*    To bring a greater unity among all people in the body of Christ.
